Coach Jim White Character Analysis

This essay I’m going to introduce abut a former football coach moves his family after losing his job as a football coach. As he moves he being to coach a cross-country team with Latino students out in California. White saves his star runners from jumping off a bridge which meant everything to him because his father hit him with his car and damaged the boy hands and couldn’t be able to work. Two of White’s runners are pulled from the team by their father so they can spend more time picking in the fields because of two of the players family wasn’t making enough money. The group of Latino students really didn’t have no hope at all. That they have much to learn about one another, that one special thing have changed their lives each and every one of them. Not everything has to be done alone. A team is a team; encouragement and support go hand in hand and one shouldn’t exist without the other. Maintain a balance of being a leader and a cheerleader. If each teammate can do this, the team will be filled of heart. Don’t be too quick to give up, family or teammates. You might surprise yourself and enjoy it or possibly appreciate something more than you already enjoyed. Don't overlook something that could make you really happy. So be optimistic the outcome could be worth it. With all the hard work and time put in each and every day with students all the grinding, not just in the field but outside and in school pays off in the long run.
