.Coach Carter is one of the best movies that’s ever been made. It was made in 1999 by Thomas Carter. The reason why this movie is so popular is because it started with a coach who went by to his high school to coach the basketball team in Richmond, California. Before he contribute with the team, the team was already in a bad condition to where the students that had a lot of problems. As the team their past season they did not do so well. So coach carter has decide to come back and make the team into a better shape than it was before.
.As he joined with the school and began coaching the team he found that the team was not playing together as a team should. So he found a way for them to be more discipline on the students to where he made them turn in a report with their grades on them. When he did that he still was not able to get to the players; soon later during the season he has decided to put locks on the gym doors and was able to put students on academic probation. So as he locked all the doors there was a big commotion on why he secured the doors with locks, parents did not appreciate, as well the teachers were upset. …show more content…
