Why do people do co2 dragster racing?
Students do co2 dragster racing for many reasons whether you’re doing it for fun or because of some competition or some activity or for whatever reason at all! So, what exactly is co2 drag racing and how would you test and race a co2 dragster? Co2 dragster racing is basically where there are small crafted cars that are powered by a small co2 canister thing and can be very fun to do. It has many things to it and many components to making a successful co2 dragster. A few components you will need to think of are very important like aerodynamics, weight, lift drag and more things to make a dragster fast. Co2 drag racing also has steps to it before getting to the real race like designing,

The first is thumbnail sketching, then design sketching, then working drawings, then using CAD. When a thumbnail sketch is being created, they should be like a bunch of quick ideas and are just drawn in a general idea and are not detailed or drawn carefully. Then in design sketching you want to pick your favorite design and create a larger design that may have more detail and things like that. You will also want to add projection lines to locate the axles and stuff like that and other features of the car. Also create the cartridge hole with dotted lines to show where it is. Then you work on the working drawing which is a 1:1 scale which exactly shows the real size and the designs if you’re going to use any. You will want to have two copies for any reasons in case you have to do something to one. For working drawing you will want a bigger type of sheet of paper since the drawings are really not to scale. Finally is using CAD. You will want to get or use a CAD program for creating the most precise drawing and often has more precise and symmetrical lines to help create a faster dragster. When finished have two or three copies of it for a prototype, the production dragster, and even one for your teacher or something like that if you need to give one t
