The article that I read was about team teaching in early childhood interdisciplinary program: A decade of Lessons Learned. In this article, the authors discuss co- teaching strategies that are making their way into classrooms. One of the examples the authors gave was a preschool classroom being co-taught by a faculty in early childhood education and a faculty in early childhood special education, which is significant for the Early Childhood field and which provides are critical mark for integrating both the general and special education practices in the same classroom. One of the studies the authors dead from Hwang, Hernandez, and Konstantinos (2002) stated that students that were placed and a co-taught classroom appeared to be anxious, park by the ends of the course, students felt like they learned more by being taught by two instructors. That study also found that the students had positive feedback and positive satisfaction the two instructor course.
This article moves forward with discussing early childhood and early childhood special education at a programmatic level mama and a bottle one through 10 years of training future academic professionals by including graduate students in the co- teaching process. This article also lists some strategies for successful programs. Some topics this article talks about are the administrative issues, perspectives on the benefits and challenges of co-teaching, the benefits the challenges, graduate students are involved with this strategy, and the perspectives of the students in the
