It is predicted that Saigon Co.op company would open another 10 new supermarkets with large-scale and 20 medium and small size ones to reach the number of 130 Co.opmart stores in 2020. In the long run, their strategy in the period from 2017 to 2020 is to open 20-50 convenience stores named Co.opFood, 3-5 Co.opXtra shopping mall and to cooperate franchise format with traditional grocery stores.
