I was quite scared because I was not used to that kind of surrounding. After my time there it made me want to stay in school and get better grades so I can, be successful and live a good life and to the have money to donate to help the homeless men, women, and kids. The homeless people that attend Clyde’s Kitchen most likely found it interesting that there was six caucasian kids, wearing polo shirts, gray slacks, and penny loafer feeding them. The people told us many things as they walked by to receive their bowl of soup. Men told me things like, “Don’t do drugs” and “Stay in school.” You could tell these people screwed up there life and did not make good choices along the way. All the people their were happy to receive food and thankful we served them food. Everyone there were thankful for everything. Most people there said, “Thank you” when you gave them food. They usually see the same volunteering every single
