On behalf of Alonzo A. Crim Open Campus High School, Faculty, Staff, and students, I thank you and your staff for your monetary contribution. With your help, we are able to provide clothes and other needed items for Crim’s Clothes Closet which greatly contribute to the academic success of our student body. We appreciate the Department of Juvenile Justice Staff as you continue to reflect on the needs of our students, and support their efforts to remain in school.

Life’s daily necessities are fewer for our students because of your donation to the Clothes Closet. Again, thank you for your involvement and commitment to helping our students. We look forward to continue working with you.

As mentioned in Governor Coumo’s article there are many statistics that support educating prisoners and how that education positively correlates to them not being incarcerated again. When I think about correctional education, in my mind its more of the continuing education frame because often any age person in the prison system can decide to go back and get a college degree while they are in prison. In fact some may have never had the opportunity for higher education until they went to prison. I know that sounds backwards, but in some cases it is very true.…

Dalton further analyzes how the norms have changed over the past decades. Dalton’s ideas on American citizenship are interesting and somewhat engaging, which I find myself mostly agreeing with.…

We want to have a bike cage outside of Dudley Moorhead Hall, because we seen a lot of student illegally parked their bikes, and locked them in the walk ways. Once again, my group was looking for answer to our new idea, and went back to Corporation Yard A. The same lady was there at the front desk, and told us to speak to the transportation department, which was near the new student union building. We were hoping that this idea can make an impact, and encourage student to riding their bikes to school instead of driving, which can be very beneficial on the environment and health.…
