Approx: 1,300 words When some paranormal teams enter through the portals of St. Albans Sanatorium to investigate her dark interior, a bond is formed that calls to them, time and time again. 3:33 a.m. Paranormal is one of the teams that has heard and answered the asylum’s siren call. Led by the dynamic duo of Alex and Krystal Porras, this group of curious investigators has returned to St. Albans two or three times a year for the past six years. The team’s “baker’s dozen” visits to the retired sanatorium has resulted in a number of run-ins with the ghosts and entities that dwell within her hallways and rooms. On September 18, 2010 Alex, Krystal, and Chuck Mandiville were assisting with a ghost hunting event at the closed asylum. It was during a lull in the activities of the day that they experienced a curious event. “The three of us had decided to walk around the building to take photos,” said Krystal. “During this period of time the building was secured and no one was inside. Around 5:00 p.m., I was able to capture a photo, where one minute the window curtain is normal and within a second later, the curtain looks as if it is being pulled back by something unseen.” Later that night, the investigators were with …show more content…
“I have investigated St. Albans many times and I am used to the spirits calling my name, but this was the first time I ever had them say my first and last name together. It took me a while to figure it out, but I remembered an important detail. At the end of Friar Bailey’s lecture, he said over the intercom, ‘I would like to give a special thanks to Krystal Porras and St. Albans for putting this event together.’ I guess the spirits did not like the fact that I brought a Catholic Priest into the building who played a mock deliverance over the intercom,” explained
