In the article “How do you learn to walk? Thousands of steps and dozens of falls per day”, experimental research was done to find an answer to how infants learn to walk. The idea of humanistic perspectives on learning is extremely prevalent in my first grade classroom taught by Nicole Mckelar. In first grade, there is a curriculum that is needed to be followed, but there is so much more than just curriculum that Mrs. Mckelar teaches to these young minds, and the most important thing that she teaches is how to be a better person.
