The idea of cloning has shaken the world into considering if cloning is right or wrong (Smith par. 17). “Millions of people who could potentially be treated or cured as a result of the research over the lives of the embryos who would be destroyed…” (Weldon par. 6). This is evidence that the people know about these advancements and have their own ideas of how or why it should be done, but some people do not believe that it should be done because of what it does to the embryos that are used for the study of cloning. While there are benefits to the process the belief of the people can alter what can or can’t be done. Though there are still some people who look at things like, “...it’s safe to drink milk and eat meat that comes from cloned animals” and consider the ethical concerns and beliefs relating to cloning and its use (Sohn par. 2). Revealing that the people have taken into account the use of cloning, its benefits and downfalls, while relating it by arguing whether we should use this process or not. While using these ideas they contradict the belief by some that it is beneficial and therefore good. Cloning has brought about the idea and use of ethical reasoning by the population of the world, and they have applied this to support their argument for or against
