Typically they need to be clenaed atleast twice per year in the fall and spring. However, if guards are installed, cleanins will be requred musch less opten and will be much easier to conduct. It's also worth notng that the less you have to clean the gutter, the less danger you'll face when it comes to going on a ladder to clean it.
