“Genuine equality means not treating everyone the same, but attending equally to everyone’s different needs.” Terry Eagleton. Eagleton’s quote means that justice doesn’t follow the political laws, that everyone’s justice is different for them. Justice is different for everyone because everyone has different views on politics, because people have different views in society and towards what they believe will be a good system for the American government system. Also political ideas change over time to conform to justice. It has been seen in women’s rights, civil rights movement, and the war on Axis powers. Justice was seen before the political views changed. For instance, it has been seen in history that Martin Luther King Jr.’s march for equality …show more content…
They both have been fighting their personal issues, Donald Trump is about his sexist comments, and Hillary Clinton is about the deleted emails. From these two examples, almost everything people think about when they hear about them, is negative. There is rarely any positive news about them anymore. “I have never yet heard from anyone, in the form I would like to hear it, the argument for justice, the argument that is something better than injustice.” (38, 358, D). This quote is a perfect description of this election so far. The media only focuses on the unjust things the presidential candidates have done. They rarely, if ever, focused on the just things the candidates have ever done. Donald Trump is a big veteran supporter, values patriotism, and is engrossed in making a change for the country’s good, Hillary Clinton is a respected leader, being an active leader for feminist, she is for equal race rights. The media is making the presidential candidates look bad by focusing on the couple bad mistakes they have …show more content…
She has left soldiers to die in Benghazi, she lies, and she has deleted many confidential emails. She is wanting the power to continue doing wrong. Hillary has already shown how she deals with issues with the emails and Benghazi. Hillary will probably die while in office if she is elected, because her health has seen to be deteriorating since the beginning of the campaigning for president. She has been seen coughing, unable to stand by herself, she even was late to a debate. People see Hillary Clinton as the better of the two evils since she has the lead in most poles. People do not understand the impact on our country if Hillary gets elected as president. She doesn’t respect or appreciate the criminal justice system, and she doesn’t talk about her international ideas of peacefulness. She will be the down fall of America. In the end, the outcome of this presidential election will cause an uproar no matter who gets elected president. From the two presidential candidates, Donald Trump, to Hillary Clinton, we will not be able to see the just ideas from the political ones, but over time we will begin to see the justice in whoever’s actions and plans that is elected as president. With all the controversial scandals occurring between these two candidates, we might have to wait a while for society to see the justice of their actions from the past and their actions that are yet to

Additionally, Trump played on the fear of the audience by suggesting she is responsible for ISIS. He does this to create a link between the fear of ISIS and the fear of Hillary running the country. Following this, Trump suggests that Hillary is not tough enough to be a good diplomat. He achieves this by jesting that whenever she tries to play tough with Putin, he laughs at her. Questioning Hillary 's toughness is potent because many people still think that females in general are not tough enough to be president and, this serves to further the bias.…

Therefore, it will help our nation grow if everyone can equip this powerful tool. Whereas if Mr. Trump wins, I would feel fearful for the future of our nation. Trump made some outlandish claims throughout the campaign trail which led many to believe there was no possible way voters would hand him the keys to America. Yet somehow even amongst all of the prejudice towards minorities, statements objectifying women, and lack of a presidential temperament, he is the one we will inaugurate in January. Clinton supporters claim that his victory proves that racism and prejudice are still very prevalent topics in America today because they feel it is what his entire campaign was built upon. Whether you agree with Hillary supporters or not, there is some truth to their claims because some people in America will always be prejudiced regardless of how advanced or accepting our society becomes. Some parents will continue to raise their children prejudiced and instill the notion that they are…

However, if you turn on your local news it tells us unfortunately it is not going anywhere; it is here to stay. For instance, take a look at our most recent election. Our President Elect Donald Trump is being called a bigot and a racist.
