Clinton has been an advocate for gun control for a long period of time already. She has pushed for a ban on assault weapons, implementing stricter background checks, and preventing loopholes that will allow weapons to be sold or exchanged at gun shows and over the internet. Her opponent, Trump, is advocating for the preservation of the second amendments; in fact, he hopes to institute a national right to bear arms. Trump actively supports the National Rifle Association and second amendment activists by promising not to implement a ban on assault weapons if he won the election. Moreover, both candidates argue whether or not to keep Obamacare. Clinton supports Obamacare wholeheartedly and if she gets more Democratic support in Congress, she hopes to expand Obamacare to those who are still uninsured. Trump, however, wishes to get rid of the mandate. Him and his advisors stated that Obamacare has raised the economic uncertainty of everyone who currently resides in the United States. If elected, the Trump administration will also try to immediately deliver a repeal of Obamacare and instead, enforce free market principles which will help broaden healthcare access.
