The death of a partner can lead to many different symptoms that can result and effect an individual’s parenting and own health negatively. Biological symptoms such as the common biological exhaustion is said to either be the result of insomnia, which is very common among grieving spouses or depression. Grieving spouses who may be depressed can find or realise that they are sleeping too much and are still sleepy throughout the day. The body when facing a difficult time such as the death of a loved one may need assistance such as antidepressants. Major depression is a severe and serious medical condition that has an intense effect on an individual’s quality of life. It is important to wait for a while before making major changes right away such as moving or changing jobs due to the fact that letting the body and mind adjust to the current situation is a must.
