I would approach patients with a smile and ask if there is anything that I can do for them. Also if a patient needed someone to talk to I would be willing to listen to them, because sometimes when people are in the hospital they can feel extremely lonely because they feel like they are in strange place with no one to talk to or who cares about them. That's why I feel that it's important to approach patients with a smile and to be willing to listen to them, since just showing that you care about them can brighten up their whole day as well as put them in a more positive mindset to improve their health. in the end this is extremely important because as Clinical Care Extender/ PreStep- Health Care Scholar it makes it easier to notice if somethings
