Climate change is a vast and complex subject and could have many different routes of discussions, and topics. However, I would like to elaborate more on how to reduce the enormity of the changing climate. How people could make an informed discussion on the factors that are weakening the climate; and find ways to adapt using less, and becoming more resourceful. Climate change is an area that many people continue to overlook because, they are not being generally effected, however, changes in the climate have a huge effect on the entire world, and people should take on better habits to reduce the magnitude of climate change and be more resourceful. Changes in the Climate should not be taken lightly; we need to find more resourceful factors and …show more content…
From a list provided in the article Dunlea et al., (2011), the article included the projection of climate change good or bad effects and the projected synopsis of their probability. The article further explains that identifying and evaluating the consequences of the different scenarios should be documented, including the work that was inadvertent because the unplanned could also lead to the aftermath of something that may result in a change for the …show more content…
He also talks about reducing the enormities of greenhouse gases and how they could eliminate. Steffen, (2011), includes the areas of where to start in reducing the main factors in climate change. He also explains that the world is growing in a high number and with those growing numbers we will not be able to keep up with a quick fix of eliminating the burning of fossil fuels that are released from smoke stacks, tailpipes, and other objects that use energy. By the mid-century we are going to have about eight billion or more people that lives on this earth; and taking away from emission gases may not be enough. Reducing the enormities of the climate changes we will have to take on other resources that will help climate change; because taking on eight billion people will take an enormous amount of energy to put towards clean energy. He explains that if we are seriously talking about tackling climate change we need to look somewhere else. He also explains that the solution may be right at your fingertips. The cities that we are building are opportunities. Suburban cities account for more than 50 percent of all household emissions; and in order to reduce those emissions the cities need to

It is not just extreme events and changing rainfall patterns that have started to affect individuals in various parts of the world. There are also discussions in the political community regarding activities of mitigation and adaptation because of climate change. Friedman later discusses how in the environment gains are privatized and losses are socialized. In the United States, any discussion on a plan of action surrounding climate change always comes down to dollars and cents. Money fuels any decision made by our country and the environment is no exception. When decisions are made regarding what to do with the environment, the financial setback it causes the country is the main consideration. Environmentalists tell everyone what we should be doing, and the government debates whether or not it is worth it.…

To begin, animal population is very important to us humans meanwhile lots of animals and plants are undergoing extinction due to the cause of climate change. These events are most likely occurring because of inaccurate behavior of humans, causing temperatures to rise and lots of greenhouse emission to be released quicker than nature can put it out in a natural occurrence. This process is known as global warming ,making it less efficient for humans and animals to live safely in their environment and habitats. This life threatening event is causing animals to go extinct, humans to have worse weather conditions such as stronger hurricanes and severe heat waves. 2000 species of animals and plants discovered to be making movements towards the poles at an average rate of 3.8 miles per decade.…

Scientists have said that human activities are the leading cause of climate change and it should change that because if nothing changes now, it will continue to alter the environment that we depend on for survival. According to NASA, “human activities over the past 50 years have warmed our planet”. (NASA) Humans are a major cause in producing climate change by cutting down forests, burning of fossil fuels and driving.…

Most people do not think about the damage they are doing to the Earth of if they do they think it is a problem for the future and not for now, which is untrue. Humans’ lifestyles should be altered to prevent further damage to Earth’s environment by reducing the demand for energy, recycling, and using less air conditioning and heat, these acts will reduce global warming. If the human race would cut down on energy usage, it would slow down global warming 's damages. In “Climate Change Science-…

Around the world, we need to tackle the issues of climate change and alter the way we consume and dispose of resources. When the sun 's rays come to earth and then radiate back out to space, they can’t go back because of the one way, very thick greenhouse gas barrier. Hurricanes are benefitting from the effects of climate change. Humans should be concerned about how climate change intensifies natural disasters, more specifically hurricanes, for it affects our lives and the environment. Places susceptible to hurricanes, such as the Gulf of Mexico and Eastern Pacific Ocean, will be hit by more intense storms in the future if we are not mindful of how to slow down climate change. Hurricanes are formed when the moist air from the surface of oceans rise and meets cooler air as it rises.…

Climate change comes to the fore as in any discussion of environmental. Human activities such as burning fossil fuels, deforestation, and using transportation are the main causes which rapidly accelerate climate change. However, such problems can be controlled and dealt with by making an effort to implement renewable energy and conserve energy as mentioned and the sequestration of carbon dioxide. Thermal power generation burning fossil fuels such as coal, petroleum, and natural gas has been used to produce electric energy.…
