The heavy rainfalls will start to get more intense because of precipita on. This will lead to the con nua on of the rainfalls in the future. The rainfall and snowfall will increase from the average precipita on we get. We will have a long period of drought from the increases in precipita on. The snowmelt and heavy rainfall could result in the widespread of flooding across the Midwest. This is a huge problem because it affects the diversity of aqua c ecosystems.
