The second video watched is about a hearing on the President Obama U.N. climate pledge. Dr. Judith Curry says that climate changes caused by humans are unsupported by evidence. There is inadequacy in current polices for emission reduction and some of the major issues are not even being addressed. Climate models provide somewhat inaccurate predictions because they predict more warming than what is being currently being observed. Ms. Harbert, who argues in agreement with Dr. Curry, says that there is the U.S. Intended Nationally Determined Contribution (INDC) and United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) lack basic information for a rigorous assessment and there seems to be a short on data needed for a proper assessment. She goes on to say that a lot of details are missing in climate models and explanations for example how does the climate models take into account aerosols, there is not mention of cloud simulation, and no mention of the effects of solar variations. Judith Curry goes on to say that we really don’t know how the 21st century climate is going to play out and extreme weather will happen regardless of human influence. The climate has been warming since the 17th century and we can’t just say that humans are the dominant cause of this. She goes on to say that current technology is doing nothing effective, we need better technology to reduce the carbon dioxide admissions. In the third video, Dr. Freeman Dyson, an American physicist and mathematician, agrees with most of the points made by Dr. Judith Curry and Ms. Harbert. He says that there are huge positive effects of carbon dioxide that we are not taking into accounts. It increases agriculture, forests, and all kind of growth in the biological world. This helps to increase biodiversity and food productions in the world. He says
