No and yes, to answer your questions. I was a good thing for me, after that I tried it again, then it made me want to try more insane things, and then I went back to try the 50 foot cliff. Me and my sister decided to go to a place called the offsets. It was the best cliff jumping cory where we were from. I had myself convinced that I was not going to jump of even the smallest cliff. Standing by the edge of the 25 foot cliff I was trembling. I turned around when I heard someone calling my name. All of the sudden I lost my balance on the border of the …show more content…
I would eat just about anything my dad would put on my plate for dinner. I even ate the juiciest peach out of the tree in our backyard even though I despise them. When my mom decided we were going to get season passes for six flags I was determined to ride everything. We arrived and I gazed at a ride called the batman as it towered over me. That's when my little brothers decided they wanted to be exactly like me. Pretty much anything I did they followed. I told my mom I was the one that made them tough. So I took credit any time they did something idiotic.
By this time I was the daredevil of my siblings. Erin, my oldest sister, had a surprise for me, but I didn’t ask questions. Finally we arrived. I looked down at the water remembering the last time I stood on the edge. I wasn’t afraid anymore, so I jumped. I did it until my feet were numb from hitting the water. Of course I tried the 25, 30, and 35 foot one. Next I Looked fixedly at the 60 foot cliff. I didn't hesitate to jump. The best thing to do when you make a mistake is to make the best of the situation. You can also use it in the future and learn from it. Everyone has bad days, people need to learn how to handle them better. I try being positive to anything that happens to me. Make the best of a situation even if it is hard to deal

A big game at the Blake hockey arena had me drenched in sweat. The Junior Varsity game had just finished the second period, which indicated I had about 45 minutes until the Varsity went on for warmups. Walking into the locker room from my usual pre-game routine, I sat down next to my hockey bad rearranging everything in the specific order I would put it on. I felt the urge to have a bite of my Cliff bar, but only a little bit because I do not like playing on a full stomach. I took my retainer off and had about half of the Cliff bar.…

Over the years and years spent on studying mythology, Joseph Campbell came up with the concept of The Hero’s Journey. The Hero’s Journey states that all hero’s travel in a similar path and go through many similar stages that’ll lead them to their reward. Sadly, sixth grade was the year that I faced the most challenges, real world challenges at least.…
