I hope to utilize the information I have learned from this presentation in my future practice as an occupational therapist. I would like to implement these concepts in primary care as this is my setting of choice. Now that I have become aware of the significant benefit in using the Stages of Change, I hope to utilize this model when considering a client-centered intervention. It is my hope that by recognizing the stages of this model and educating my clients about each facet, it will in turn decrease attrition and increase health promotion advocacy.
