Congratulations you are the first person to visit this page in the last 24 hours just click here and you can receive up to $10,000. I have to admit The first time i ever saw an ad like that little 6 year old Emma was up and running
“mum, mum i just won 10,000 dollars”
That was the first but not the last time I was tricked on the internet infact it happens almost daily, Look who was recently spotted with Taylor Swift, Miley seen without her ring what Liam thinks about that. I like many others have been a victim of click bait. However, it hasn't only been our generation that has been pulled into the internet's tricky trap. The elderly and lonely 40 year old men have been falling into the buy a bride scam for yonks and that's not even the tip of the iceberg when it comes to scamming one the web. ‘

Clickbait is a relatively new term but since the development of websites that have ads that get them dollars per view and even dollars per click it has become one of the many ways we as a generation can be fooled. The way clickbait is meant to work is there is an eye catching title and then an article normally justifying the scandals title

Now I want to clear the air on this. Since I’m all about equality I know I used the stereotyped men as being the ‘lonely 40 year old’ however women can be internet scammed as well for example A lonely woman based in London was duped her into 'loaning' two con-men a staggering £1.6million, telling her the money was needed to free up inheritance so they could start a new life together. Two men catfished her into believing that she was dating Christian Ronaldo I think it is important to also mention that these two men got the idea from a book. A book? Yes that's right there is a specific book called ‘the game’ written by con-men for con-men. This book contains details on how to con people out of money. That blows my mind the fact that it is legal is beyond

Good morning/good afternoon ladies and gentlemen of the jury. Aldous Huxley, the author of the futuristic dystopian novel “Brave New World” is innocent in rightfully challenging the idea of a modern utopia. He invites the reader to challenge the ideal society as his writing is a cautionary tale and a warning to people that humanity may transform from being free independent people to slaves to our own greediness and society. “Brave New World” is a disturbing, loveless world and Huxley shows this through his writing, tapping into themes such as eugenics, behavioral conditioning, the use of advanced technology to control an entire society and showing an extreme but honest version of today’s economic standards. Huxley doesn’t mean to say that people would be happier if they were all genetically modified, nor…

In order to satirize the marketing industry, the Onion produced a parody of a stereotypical advertisement. While the work may appear to be a standard advertisement issued by a company, the language chosen and implied meaning give rise to parody. Marketing phrases are utilized to give the mock marketing ploy the feel of an actual advertisement, as phrases such as “stressed and sore-footed Americans everywhere are clamoring for the exciting new MagnaSoles shoe inserts,” yet the parody is revealed in the phrase, “no fewer than five forms of…

Like all road safety campaigns, Keep the Bromance Alive and Little Bit Dead have the purpose of making Australian roads safer and discouraging unsafe habits. Keep the Bromance Alive encourages positive peer pressure, by showing men encouraging mates to not drink drive, not to speed and encouraging seatbelts. Contrastingly, Little Bit Dead discourages negative behaviour by showing a potential catastrophic outcome of unsafe driving. Unlike Bromance, Little Bit Dead focuses solely on drink driving, rather than the three aspects. The purpose of Bromance is to persuade by taking a humorous stance and making fun of the idea that men are nagging, or a ‘big girl’ if they tell their friends to demonstrate safe behaviour; this shows that it is better…

After reviewing my persuasive speech over why the University of Oklahoma is the best university in the nation, I would sum up my speech as a little bit of train wreck. Although I made good claims with factual evidence, the amount of stuttering I did, and all the times I was choked up throughout the speech drew my audience’s attention away. From this, I lost my audience’s belief that I was competent of the information I was reiterating to them. At the introduction of my speech I believe I started out fairly strong and gave a good run down of the coming speech.…
