The book is very well written starting with the first paragraph grabbing the attention to the reader. It focuses on not only the life of Cleopatra, but the start of Egypt long before Cleopatra’s birth. With the book having pictures and maps of Egypt, it gives the reader more of an insight on the life of the Egyptians and Cleopatra. It is great having background on other Egyptians, however, the book is supposed to be specifically about Cleopatra. Sapet wrote too much information on the Egyptians and not enough on Cleopatra. More facts about Cleopatra in this book would be more helpful and more understanding since she is the main point of the documentary. Sapet left out some of the most important information about Cleopatra that could improve how the reader understands her life and who she really was as a
