For all the new football players heading out for a whole day training session, here are the things you should consider before buying a pair of new cleats. This is your only protection against leg injuries, so make sure you choose the best one.

Level of Comfort

The shoes say it all, but if you are not comfortable with it, chances are, you can’t give your best shot during the game. Moreover, chances of leg injuries are high since you bought the wrong cleats. You should consider trying several pair of cleats until you reach the best and high level of comfort for your feet.

Right Size to Fit

Most amateur players prefer tight shoes since they thought having one can help them achieve more goals. But unfortunately, tight shoes are not recommended since it promotes trauma on your feet and legs. Moreover, as you start running with tight cleats on, your shoes could explode anytime. Make sure to choose the right size and fit. Try several sizes and again check the level of comfort.

But for some athletes, conical cleats are more safe when it comes to playing in grass fields. Blade cleats on the other hand should be avoided since it could cause leg injuries. Make sure to buy mens football cleats with a better traction to achieve more scores during the game.
