Clean Power Plan For many years, the amount of green house gas emissions have been gradually increasing due to the innovations of industrialization. Transportation, productivity of electricity, industry and agriculture all provide the necessities of human life. But an action always causes a reaction. The many inventions and innovations in the industrial category have been polluting the air with carbon dioxide causing a significant increase of climate change. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has developed a plan called the Clean Power Plan to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and make a dent in the increasing climate change ("Clean Power Plan"). This plan has been put into thought of many people and some of those people don't agree with its propositions. Besides the disagreement, there is plenty of approval. The Clean Power Plan is solid and well thought through that it should continue in its efforts to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide.

The first stakeholder to the Clean Power plan would be people living near the power plants. The power plants that use coal for everything, effect people in physical ways, especially people that have asthma ("Obama Announces"). Certain citizens that are part of minorities have low income and would most likely live near to fossil fuel using power plants ("Reid Remarks Benefits"). Minorities include African Americans and Hispanics. They are about two to three times more likely to suffer and die from an asthma attack ("Reid Remarks Benefits"). With the reduction in coal by the use of fossil fuels, people who suffer from asthma will have improvements in their diagnosis. They will be able to live an easier life. This reason is why the Clean Power Plan should proceed in being applied to all states that need
