I can use its themes to address gender, class, and other forms of oppression by talking about these topics in the classroom environment. I can do activities like answering questions related to these topics to start up their thought process. Based on that we could discuss these topics providing us an opportunity to learn from each other. Sexual orientation is a concept that needs to be cover at the school level because we have to be aware that you as an individual have the right to choose to which gender you identify. We are not here to judge and make fun of transgender, homosexuals, bisexuals, etc. We have to remain open minded and respects others for who they are as a person and make them feel part of our society.
