• The students population in my classroom is the following: 19 students/ 5 girls 14 boys/ 57%- Latino/ Hispanic - 31% Caucasian/ White -1% Black/ African American.
• When comparing the totals with my student population I noticed the verbal/linguistic area is as expected with my 57% Latino/ Hispanic students. All of these students have some sort of support from our schools English language learner teachers and my professional development on SIOP strategies. I intend to teach vocabulary and new skills with related real life items to make connections to students background. I plan
