The purpose of this constitution is to establish order throughout the classroom of 202. This constitution will exhibit the rights of the students, the rules they must follow, and their businesses.
Article I
In the class of 202, there shall be three branches; The Judicial Branch, Legislative Branch, and the Executive Branch. The Executive Branch will be made up of a president and a vice president. The main powers in 202 will be the president and three representatives, each voted on by the citizens. Representatives will be chosen every month, however, he/she can only run twice. The judges will be chosen and voted upon by the representatives. Once chosen, a judge will keep his/her position for two weeks.
A president must have the majority of the citizen's votes. A campaign will last one week, and running presidents must give at least one speech on why he/she should be president. Once elected, a president has the power to make changes to the constitution, make treaties with other classrooms, and work with the three representatives. The president must choose his vice president before his/her campaign ends.
The legislative branch will be made of 3 representatives that work with the president, edit the constitution (voted upon by the judges), and help the president align treaties.
Article III
Every week, students will pay 10 cents to the government that will go to having a party at the end of every two months. The type of party will be voted upon by the students two weeks prior. A trustworthy volunteer will manage the taxes paid by the students and convert the change into dollars by the end of the two
