Two broad aims were used as a guide to direct the study and analyze the outcomes. To describe the competence of autistic children for novel cue in social scaffolding and non social scaffolding and to compare the vocabulary acquisition performance and coordinating attention between male and female ASD children. The researcher established a checklist in accordance with previous similar studies i.e. Frances Allison from Iowa University carried a similar research to compare word learning and coordinating attention between ASD children and their receptive vocabulary mates. The study includes observational analysis as well as statistical analysis using Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel).
