He was promoted supervisor and immediately started to learn his role as a supervisor. First, he began to ask the workers how they would like to set up their schedules and routines for their classroom? Along with asking about the plans, he also mentioned for everyone to be patient and understanding through his learning process on how to run a daycare. Therefore I believed he carried the participative theory approach because he was willing to learn and help his employees work comfortably on the job. He asked questions about each position we had and what we believe would benefit our classrooms to succeed. Continuing with questions, he also let his employees know that he was open to changes that would only help us work comfortable and professional. We were reminded as employees to remember although he is transparent about implementing changes that we know will work to remember that we need to be consistent with our routines and professional with parents. His daily roles consisted of scheduling his workers on different times each week, take inventory of materials needed, supervise, document and check in throughout the day on his workers to see if there was anything needed for the children and finally montior any assitance needed in his
