Brandon is a freshman at Euclid High School taking co-taught college preparatory classes in math, English, history and science. Brandon continues to work on his reading comprehension and math problem-solving skills through specialized instruction in co-taught math, English and other content areas.
Brandon earned a 2.574 GPA the fist quarter with his highest marks in the following areas: Teachers report that Brandon is polite, participates positively, is cooperative, works hard in class to complete all of his assignments by asking for help and attending extra help sessions during lunch and IE periods. Brandon continues to improve his academic scores by earning a 2.934 the second quarter. He is currently earning passing marks of 82% in his

during English are 50%,51.2%, 53%, 48% and 92%. On Readtheory.org, Brandon's post test scores place him at a 3.88 grade level and his Lexile level is 593. In the area of ELA Common Core Standards, he answered questions involving Integration of Knowledge with 57% accuracy. He answered questions dealing with Craft & Structure with 83% accuracy. Brandon answered questions regarding Key Ideas & Details with 87% accuracy. His average score on information text from reading passages in the content area of history are 82%. and science 67%. Brandon's English teacher notes that Brandon sits in the front of the classroom and can be easily distracted by people around him; however, is also easily redirected. She also states that Brandon will attend extra help sessions during lunch and IE. Brandon uses extended time to complete reading assignments and assessments.

MAP Testing (Northwest Evaluation Association):
A computerized adaptive assessment was used to measure Brandon's math and reading skills. The purpose of the assessment is to measure Brandon's academic skills comparatively, and to develop goals to assist him with academic achievement. This is a nationally normed curriculum based measurement. Below is the scores Brandon received. The percentage indicates Brandon's percentile rank (the percentage of students in the most recent NWEA that had a score less than or equal to Brandon's score). The student RIT projection score is based on the score of the student for when they take a future test.
