I observed a 3 year old boy named B.C. in his classroom during the show and tell activity, Friday September 30 at 9: 45 a.m. Most of the children brought toys, only B.C. brought a metal tool, when the teacher noticed that B.C. had a metal tool on his hand, she told him that she had to keep it because it wasn’t save to him. He was upset and told her “this is my dad’s tool and I want to keep it”. The teacher answered “I know that tool is yours, but I want to keep safe until you present it to the class”. He didn’t give the tool to the teacher and start crying, so the teacher told him “if I hold your tool for a moment, you can present it first to the class and then I keep it safe until your mom come to pick you up”.
