Section I: I ended up with a total of seventeen, which is pretty good to me for first time teaching toddlers. I scored the fives because all the furniture in my room is toddler height and friendly. The materials are accessible whenever the students show interest and we change out the art center every day with a new sheet of paper and add crayons, makers, and paints. However, I would like to see more from myself and my assistant teachers be more tentative, immediate, and on their level for the majority of the day.

There is a posted daily schedule that is being followed, but I think about the various needs being unmet in my classroom. For starters, I have two SLP’s and two PT’s that come and leave valuable information in order to meet my two kiddo’s needs with hearing impairments. This is wonderful but overwhelming. I am in need of picture flip books for transitions, sign language posters, Spanish talk phrases for toddlers, and a picture schedule.
