In Mrs. C Frye’s room, I have seen how she uses different classroom management. For some of her classes she has a happy and sad face on the board and she tells them “Let’s getting more happy points then sad points”. At the end of class if there are more happy points then sad the get to play Heads up for five minutes. If there are more sad points she goes over what they did and why they can play the game. Sometimes I have even seen her write their names on the board. If the students are really acting out she will let them know they are not following directions and that their name is going on the board and they can’t go to “Brain Break”. Now these two things bout always work she as even said some days she has to come up on the spot of something
