Classroom Leadership Philosophy

Building a classroom of leadership is hard at the same time it is worth doing. One of the most important lessons that I have learned from my 390R Leader in Me class is the way to build a classroom leadership which prepares me for my future job which is to become a teacher. Firstly, teacher with effective classroom leadership motivates students to learn. Every teacher wants what is best for their students. They want their students to increase their learning ability and to behave in the classroom and at school as well. After all the movies we have watched in class and the reading, I understand that if a teacher expects students to learn, they should be their motivation in classroom. I have come to the understand that we don’t have to graduate from school, own a company or wait until we grow up and get a job then we become a leader. To become a leader is something that we learned at young age. That is why, teachers need to teach and prepare students to become a leader. For example, giving students a task or chores to do in lass whether it be collecting papers or shaking the classes’ hands and welcome them to class in the morning will prepare themselves to become a leader. Helping the students understand the 7 habits will allow them to recognize some bad behavior and correct it or avoid doing it. For example, I have learned to be proactive, however, if I late to my class I learn that I don’t have to blame my roommate for taking a long shower but I blame myself for not waking up early. I need to be responsible in that way when being a leader, I don’t have to blame others but be responsible for my
