Classroom Hypnotization
In a small town in Okeechobee, Florida the was a daycare called Shining Young Stars. In this daycare we care for children ages of 3 and one half to 5 years. We only have a select amount of children attending this year, I guess you could say it is one of our slow years with the amount of children we have. Were also low on teachers or some would call us babysitters, but we prefer not to be called a babysitter because we educate children not just watch them.
August twenty-seventh, the starting day for new enrolled children. We had eight children enrolled this year their names were, Taiylor, Maison, Mylah, Silas, Maddie, Dotson, Richard, and Camiryn. They were quite a good bunch so far, …show more content…
I then turned to the book I read at carpet time, and re-reading the story back to myself showed me clues that maybe the book was the cause of them to have the blank stares and unresponsiveness. The book I chose to read was some type of child hypnotizing play book. I didn't really pay attention to the book I picked because I was so overwhelmed by how terrible they acted before hand, and turns out, the children were hypnotized and I did it to them. I think they are just going through a phase, they finally feel comfortable enough to act like their true selves in the classroom and my assistant and I will need to work with them on how they need to act in the classroom. My first step was, reading them that book again to get them to calm down and gain some self-control. I read the book to them and it worked, they all stared blankly and I then realized the word to get them to snap out of it was “The End”, so I said “ The End” and they sat there looking at me confused. I told them that today we're going to learn how we should act in the classroom. And we did just that. Hypnotizing my students gets them to calm down and listen and do what is needed, and I did the same technique for every class I had after that and then
