I really enjoyed this chapter as it provided quite a bit of useful information. One line in particular stood out to me, and the line was “for tweens, appearance is everything.” I believe this line speaks volumes and truth about tweens. The chapter talks about how tweens are trying to find their identities and how making your classroom environment can help guide them and aid them in trying out their costumes and identities. The environment in the classroom for tweens is important because it feeds into their sense of style, identity and engagement. The chapter discusses how you have to plan your classroom layout to help your instruction as well as think about what can you as a teacher live to look at for eight hours everyday. We as teachers in
