First, to address Lakeside’s on-campus supervision, a review of duty schedule and responsibilities would take place during the next staff meeting. According to California Code of regulations (Title 5, 5552), it falls under the administrative leader(s) responsibility to assign proper supervision during school hour, and before and after school (Kemerer and Sansom, 2013, p. 455). Along with a review of duty responsibilities, a poster size copy of the duty schedule would be displayed in the main office and in the teacher’s lounge. A map displaying duty locations and assigned teachers would be included in the weekly staff bulletin. I would also monitor the campus, duty placements, and note any possible hazardous areas. I would ask for immediate solutions that I could implement on campus until the rewiring of the school could take place. I would also relay safety measures to all staff and post warning signs above loose sockets and non-working sockets. For teachers with various extension cords running across the floor, I would ask for bright colored type to be placed over the cords to keep them in place and noticeable, and if possible, to reroute cords through a lesser path of student travel. Despite potential solutions, as an administrator, reaching out to district personnel for an immediate change of electrical sockets and or wiring would be
