Not only do cheerleaders get practice by going to practices, but they also may go to cheer camps. Most squads, both high school and competition, go to camps. There are two different types of cheer camps. There are public camps and private camps. Public camps are usually held at a university. They last about three to four days, and the squad will most likely stay in college dorms at the university. The public camps are run from sun up to sun down so expect to be exhausted. At public camps, there will be more than one squad there. There could be five or maybe even eight, so the squads will have the chance to meet and bond with many other cheer squads from all around. At the camp, you will learn cheers, dances, stunts, and many skills. You may
