From Lock’s perspective, people come always first; in other words, the person’s interest is prioritized over the society as an overall. Lock articulates that individuals are rational and they have a brain so they can make their own decision so the government should not make choices on people’s behalf; human beings can do anything in their self-interest or for to make themselves prosperous except harming others (Killing other is forbidden). Individuals also are equal and they should be able to pick their religions without any external intervenient. In economic terms, classical liberalism can be called a shadow foe capitalism because it is based on free market and ideas that can lead to progress of people and their society.
