For the past few years I have had to step up and take charge of many family responsibilities and become the man of the house because my father had to move to different states for work. I am in charge of caring for our rural property, farm animals, house, and the rest of my family. This experience has made me more trustworthy, more hardworking, and more of a leader. These characteristics, along with my community involvement and academic achievements, make me well suited for this scholarship.
When it comes to academics, I am very outgoing. I always do my finest job and I persist even if something is difficult. The main leadership role that I am in is class treasurer, which requires me to collect dues from my fellow classmates and keep track of our class budget.
Responsible, honest, trustworthy, hardworking, and outgoing are just some of the personal characteristics that make me a worthy candidate for this scholarship. I am trusted with very important responsibilities because those who seek me out know I will do it correctly. I strive to be the best person I can be, by going above and beyond what is expected of me. I am always willing to help and teach others.
I am thankful for the opportunities that I have been presented in my life, whether positive or negative because they have all made me into a better person. I believe my ethics and values make me a perfect candidate for this scholarship.
