It was about (Untold Stories of Those who cross our Borders). There were a lot of students also attended in this event and most of them are international from different countries. Before she started her speech she told us the background of the immigrant. She gave us a brief history about the people who came to US in the past and faced the immigration problems. In fact, the speaker was confident and her speech was well-organized and structured. Also, I had improved my knowledge about the speaking skills such as delivery and organization. Moreover, I learned the perfect way to present a presentation. I have to move between the audience when I speak in the speech. One of the important point I have learn is if I have speech and I use PowerPoint or videos I have to coordinate my sentences when I speak with the power point and videos. In addition, I have to show the audience my body language and my reactions when I talk and avoid hiding behind the computer.
Conclusion
To sum up, the speaker did a really good job. She uses more than one method when she presents the presentation about the immigrant. The style that she follows was very clear. In fact, her voice plays a big part of her speech and makes the speech very interesting. She organized and delivered the speech successfully. I still remember the point that Julia discuss in her speech because until the end of speech he use the key word to remind the audience about what he talked about. In general, Julia did a really good job when she presents the speech and she did it in the perfect
