Class Reflective Essay

The first quarter of the school year is coming to a close, and this quarter has served as my introduction into the class that is composition. In this class I have written a couple essays so far, and this one will serve as a reflection of an essay I have written previously. The essay I wrote previously is titled “Anxious”, it is a descriptive essay about what it is like to suffer from an anxiety disorder. Since then I have improved and I am only continuing to get better and better. In my essay the easiest part to compose was probably the use of metaphors and similes to describe how certain things felt. As soon as one came out they just continued to pour, as if they were the first drop from a raging bloody nose. I feel personally that one of my strengths in my writing is that I have gotten pretty decent at using similes and metaphors to describe certain things. Such as feelings of places. It is because of this that I feel like the describing of feelings in my essay were the easiest of all to compose. The thing that I would do differently next time, is to pay more attention to the mechanics of my writing. I like all of it I mean I wrote it didn't I. But if I absolutely had to pick a favorite part it would be the phrase “Contradictory to the definition, anxiety is more than just the constant worry of a madman”. I'd have to say that this phrase is my favorite part of my essay because its one hundred percent truthful. Anxiety is more than just a constant worry, it is a mix of so much more emotions than that. The phrase also uses one of my favorite words which is madman, I simply just love that word! Lastly my main goals for my next essay is to catch all of my errors with the mechanics of writing, because you and I both know that there are a lot of problems in that
