One of them at the Alpha center outside of the city limits of Middleboro and the other is at the Beta center in Jasper. Both of these locations offer ambulatory medical care services that are provided on a walk in basis. These centers do not offer any emergency services, and if a patient were to arrive that needed emergency services and ambulance will be called to transport the patient to the nearest emergency department. A lot of the city’s population, however, fails to have sufficient hospital insurance. Our competition would include Webster Osteopathic Hospital, but they are not considered too much of a threat due to their small size. Middleboro Community Hospital has many specialty units, such as the Cancer Treatment Center, which would give them an advantage in attracting patients who live further away that are seeking specialized health care services. Gap…

This firm represents St. David’s South Austin Medical Center (the “Hospital”) in the above-referenced matter. In your June 29, 2016 letter, you contend that the hospital lien filed in regard to the services your client received at the Hospital’s emergency department (“ED”) on March 17, 2016 was fraudulent because Mr. Smith was never “admitted” to the Hospital. Be advised that the Hospital disagrees with your position, as it is a misapplication of Chapter 55 of the Texas Property Code. Section 55.002(a) states that for a lien to attach, the individual must be “admitted to a hospital.” Importantly, the term “admitted to a hospital” is not limited or restricted in Chapter 55 to any particular type of admission, such as an inpatient admission, ED admission, or an outpatient admission.…

If Joanne does not take her of herself by not going to the doctor and getting the right medicine she needs, and also not letting her partners know that she has contracted HIV. There are some limits of confidentiality and those are supervision and consultation, client waivers, danger to self or others, suspicion of child or elder abuse, subpoenas and privileged communication, and confidentiality in various types of recording (D.H. Hepworth et. All., 2013). I would consider Joanne’s case as a danger to herself and her partners. Joanne needs to take care of herself first to avoid any consequences if she does not take the right medicine.…
