Immediately I dug deeper into information. Everything I read, and what I was told by friends of mine who attend, sounded appealing. I made the very obvious choice to apply. I would love to be a part of the student body and take classes over at Clark. Currently I am working on my Girl Scout Gold Award. The Gold Award is a sustainable community service project, with at least of eighty hours. Working with the class schedule at Clark, would be loads more beneficial to my own busy schedule. Balancing school, sailing, and scouts would be much more manageable. In the long run, I would have more time to spend on school and working towards my future, by attending Clark.
I have high large plans for my career. I wish to attend the United States Naval Academy (USNA). Then after graduation, serve in the US Navy. By attending Clark, I could graduate high school with my AA, and already have my foot in the door to the Academy. I will want to focus on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). I would love to be a part of the ERAU Honors Program for a multitude of reasons. I feel that the Honors Program is something akin to another door being opened in a long line of opportunities in life. Firstly, I should note that I have, for a long time, found myself in an endless pursuit of knowledge. However, I have yet to be able to quell my love for learning, and I can think of no opportunity superior to the Honors Program at Embry-Riddle to continue this. With the extensive lecture series offered through the Honors Program, both from faculty and third parties, I would be able to continuously and passionately pursue a more complete and comprehensive knowledge of the world.…

Actually, I am still in the most challenging academic course I have taken to date, AP United States History (APUSH). APUSH has been difficult for me due to the fact that I had very little knowledge of US history preceding my enrollment in the class. Furthermore, prior to this class I had never really had to study extensively to maintain high marks. APUSH has been different. Having little knowledge of this material, I have had to spend much more time studying.…

Attending GHP would be a dream come true because I have desired the opportunity to participate in GHP since freshmen year when I learned what GHP is. It is an amazing program that could help me grow not only as a student but also a person. I believe that GHP will provide me with a unique experience which will further my preparedness for college. It will be my first time traveling for an elongated period of time without my family alongside me. Additionally, we are given more support from a teacher in high school than that given in college, so I will encounter the effort required to do well in college.…

I would like to attend the Davidson July Experience for three reasons. First, the resemblance to college life will prepare me for college by offering activities, and adventures that high school does not provide. College requires a lot of independence, and this program also requires independence in order to be successful, so it is a perfect learning experience for me. Second, I find the courses very interesting, such as the Hitler and Nazi course, and the Family and justice course.…

To begin, I’d love to take part in Link Crew again as my previous experience with this group has been nothing but fun and rewarding. The Grade 9 students have developed so much since their first day at Abbey Park making new friends and obtaining diverse personality traits. Next, I love to work and meet new people as I gain so much awareness and knowledge and the relationship develops to a friendship. I can offer this year’s Link Crew my experience from last year as I’ve attended all meetings and events. Next, coming to Abbey Park with absolutely no friends and a hectic extracurricular schedule, I can offer this experience to others so Grade 9’s know that they can get through high school no matter what place they are in their life.…

California dreaming can be so much better than California living; at least that’s what I feel sometimes after taking my gap year. This statement I believe is not only applicable to my gap year, but also my experience as a whole. Acknowledging the great presence of collegen in my face and the silky blonde undyed locks on my head, I realize that I have not gone through an immense amount of “life”, but I still know that my experience on this Earth has taught me a couple of things that make me the exceptional person I am. There are a couple of key oppurtunites and hardships that seem to way the heaviest on my being and memory, the death of my beloved grandmother and the so called “gap-year” I’m currently taking on, that have shaped me into a fit student for UT…
