In the story “Fahrenheit 451” the main problem is that many people’s houses or libraries are being burned down and all of the books inside are being totally destroyed. The main character, Guy Montag, was a fireman and had been a fireman for ten years. This story takes place in the future where the firemen set the fires, rather than putting the fires out. The firemen are setting the houses and buildings on fire because they all think that that books are bad for everyone that reads them. One day he was walking home from his job and he meets a seventeen year old girl, Clarisse, and she tells him all about the Earth and nature and he is very interested. So, as Clarisse and Montag begin to talk more and more everyday, he decides to try and fight
