Challenges/ Difficulties faced by Clara Schuman & Other women's In the Classical era, it was predominately men dominated society, hence women empowerment was least preferred and they were not motivated to move forward. All the distinguished and signified recognition were shadowed mostly be men. At that time, trainings for musical instruments and the facilitator existing in these institutions were mostly men. Even if any women requested for such trainings, their requests were either discarded straightforward or arrangements were made to provide these at homes only. They were not allowed to have freedom both in terms of expressions or choosing their career. Clara Schuman, being a lucky woman chose her own profile and wrote a golden chapter in the history of Music. Women were not adequately recognized and their talent was suppressed upon. It was the case both internally i.e. within the family and externally i.e. socially. If any women wanted to excel in their talent they had to overcome loads of obstacles and struggles to finally achieve their aim. However it was pretty easy path for men to achieve the same. A novice boy was preferred and given more opportunities rather than an intelligent girl with rare talents. Women are considered as the driving force behind the world, however this ill treatment of women was not soon going to end in the future.
