I would like to thank Clara Caldwell and the Tideland Houston Chapter- A. Phillip Randolph Institute for what they represent: Dedication, Commitment, and Hard work.
I have only met a few people in my life who were as enthusiastic about hard work as Clara Caldwell. I have learned so much from her example and experience.
Behind every professional success of an organization there is always a beautiful mind like Clara’s. It amazes me how she manages to get things done every time she put her mind in it!
I applaud Clara for the achievement she continues to accomplish for our labor community. Clara’s efforts in organizing our Labor Communities and giving us a voice has been recognized both on the local and national levels.

    Outside perception of Louisiana is spicy crawfish, deep accents, and bad hygiene, but this perception does not portray Louisiana’s rich culture. Mike Tidwell, the author, felt like researching was not enough to grasp the full feel for the unique southern Louisiana living.
