CJSF Service and Activities
Participated in College Fair, Stanford University, in charge of extracurricular activities at Stanford which required diligence and patience as countless activities offered; teamwork and cooperation was also required of participants Privilege of touring U.C. Berkeley; had to demonstrate strong listening skills so facts were actually learned and trustworthiness as teachers depending on us to be mature and have independence - they weren’t there to babysit us Assisted in raising awareness of ongoing CJSF collections for the underprivileged and donated to several different aspects of these events, this required dependability not only from those around me but, in a way, those who aren’t as fortunate as myself Spoken …show more content…
in fourth grade and continued with it to present (eighth grade), requires more complex classes and higher expectations which need to be exceeded Received “Outstanding Student” Award in seventh grade due to character traits such as perseverance, leadership, and responsibility Turned expectation of straight A’s and honor roll into reality starting in fourth determination to reach those expectations, grade and continuing to the present; represents high expectations for myself, and leadership of expectations for my younger sister Attended 4.0 G.P.A. luncheon since it has been offered in seventh grade to the present (eighth grade); attending the luncheon is an accomplishment and reminds us to take those who don’t attend the lunch under our guidance and leadership so they can attend next time Participated in advanced math since it was offered in third grade to the present (eighth grade); advanced math requires lots of patience as sometimes the concepts can be quite challenging to …show more content…
to assist in different ways around the school, which includes grading tests, bringing kids to the office from class, gathering the food drive boxes, and assisting the teachers in numerous ways; assisting in this way requires trustworthiness, a positive attitude towards every peculiar task, and rectitude Involved with extracurricular activities such as volleyball (seventh grade) and basketball (seventh grade and hopefully eighth too); both require(d) sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership Started tutoring in math lab as have always been in advanced math, this requires patience as not all concepts are understood and compassion so the kid doesn’t feel as if he/she can’t complete the task Applied and became a W.E.B. leader to assist seventh graders with their transition to junior high, it requires a large amount of leadership, dedication, voluntary work, and
