During President Roosevelt's presidency he did everything he could to have the government be strong and on the same page. In order to accomplish this he and the congress created many deals that benefited to the citizens of American. For example, there was the Civilian Conservation Corps deal, Works Progress Administration, and the Social Security Act.
The Civilian Conservation Corps act was one of the most popular of all the new deals. This was because it provided unskilled manual labor jobs to 3 million men who might have gotten involved with crime activity. In outdoor government camps the CCC worked in conservation and development of land resources owned by federal, state, and local governments. They planted 3 billion trees to replace the forests that had been devastated by the industrialization.
