The Civil War was very devasting to the new nation, so it left a lot of consequences, physically, socially, and economically. Physical because a lot of states were completely destroyed. This lead to the disappearance of the culture of the people from these states, because their books and buildings were destroyed. The civil war also left economical consequences. Many people died, reducing the workers. Also, plantations were burned, and this affected to much the economy of the south. At last, it left social consequences. Although the war was finished, it is obvious that in the new nation had hate among the south and north. Many people suffered racism based on their side (north or south).
